Tea Room Etiquette

TEA AND YOUNG CHILDREN

The tearoom is an ideal place to take the opportunity to practice great manners in a mature and calm space. We strive to create a contemplative and peaceful experience with a particular emphasis on a relaxed environment for everyone. Therefore, children are required to remain seated, and adequate attention should be given to avoid disruptive behaviour.

CELLPHONE AND LAPTOP USE

We promote a healthy break from a hi-wired environment. For that reason, we kindly request that laptop and cell phone use be kept to a minimum, and that any conversation by cell phone be held at a quiet level, or outside when at all possible.

OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES

In addition to tea, we offer a selection of sweet and savoury foods. Outside food or beverages are not permitted in our tea service area at any time, without exception. If you require something that is not regularly offered, please feel free to contact us prior to your visit to discuss how we may accommodate you.
